Its one of those quiet Sundays. The washing machine and dryer are making their cleaning noises. I've already run the dishwasher and am too lazy to go unload right now. The puppy is wandering thru the house. The boys are all taking a nap (lazy monsters- they only do this so they can drive me nuts till some ungodly time in the AM). I need to talk to Vix but I know better than to call them before 2 on a Sunday. Football is on right now and I'm not really sure why. I do want to watch the Colts game at 3. What can I say? We moved here from Indiana many moons ago and my kids are all Colts fans. My mom sends them Colts wear for Christmas every year. Little Man and B got new sleep wear this year. They will probably wear it to watch the game in a few hours. We did some work outside this morning. We're clearing some trees and cleaning up some debris. We keep cleaning and clearing. And then we do some more. This property would overgrow my house in a month I think if we didn't stay on it. Its unbelievable how fast the grass grows.
This is pretty normal for a Sunday around here. Brunch. Laundry. Clean the bathrooms. And then be pretty much lazy. I usually put the most effort into Sunday dinners too. However - we actually get the Colts game this week and so can you say we'll be eating whatever pops into the oven and can bake itself? I suppose since its already 1 - I should be going to check that all out and see what we have that fits my laziness today.
On other news... Tara and Hurricane spoke for the first time in I can't tell you how long last night. Tom had a motorcycle that he agreed to sell to Hurricane at Tara's urging. This was a good thing as Hurricane's truck won't go out of 1st gear and desperately needs a new transmission. Here's hoping that this opens up communication between the 2 of them and that they reestablish some sort of relationship. I was having visions of my kids never speaking again after my funeral. Its literally been years since those 2 have said a word to each other. I was really starting to worry that they'd never talk again. I have been nagging them both to grow up and work things out. Not just those three even (Tara, Tom, and Hurricane) but all of them. They're all old enough now to work things out amongst themselves and leave their old mom out of it. It just stresses me out too much.
Well, off here to go hunt thru the freezers and find something that the oven can turn into dinner. Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday!
